71 runners came to Francestown to support the 200 year old Village Store. The Deschenes family had a strong showing, with Haven coming in third, father Andre in 8th and eleven year old Mason coming in 11th place. Impressive. The first place male and female awards went to George Shiarella and Kristen Ramey respectively. Runners as young as 6 years old (Maddie Schlieben) completed the course including that 1.5 mile climb uphill at the end. The 5k course started in front of the Village Store and traveled south eventually following the old Francestown 5 route back into town. There was both magnificent gifts and food. Nothing like fresh oven baked pizza from American Flatbread after a race.
