January 2026 Newsletter

FROM THE CO-PRESIDENTS

Happy 2026 Monadnock Milers!  As we head into the new year, we’re excited to welcome another year of shared miles and strong finishes.  Whether you are setting ambitious race goals, rebuilding, working on consistency, or enjoying the rhythm of winter runs with friends, the new year is a perfect time to lace up.  With the new year, our club remains focused on community, the promotion and encouragement of running, and the education of its benefits.

While January and February can often feel long and dark, they are also a great chance to get in base miles and work toward your 2026 goals.  The Winter Chillers series is a great way to help with this and enjoy some winter miles with one another.  Another way to beat the winter blues is to share your goals.  In this newsletter we are asking you to share your goal race(s) for 2026.  We’d love to be able to cheer you along and help you connect with others that may be training for the same race or have similar goals.  Also, our quarter 1 Education Night will be centered around goal setting and planning your 2026 running year.

We’re glad you’re running this season with us and look forward to seeing you at our events.

Happy Running!

Yolanda & Lance
