There are only 3 races left in the 2019 MAGP series! Run for the Pines, 5k at the Cathedral in the Pines, Rindge, HoFall 5K Run/Walk trail race in Milford and ending with Friends of the Poor 5K in New Ipswich. I have started interviewing some of the race directors of the MAGP races in effort to have our members better understand these races. This newsletter includes interview with Mad Dash race administrator Dana Whitehouse and Run for the Pines administrator Elizabeth Halper. Hopefully, this will encourage more local runners to discover these unique races.
There have been many people asking about the Wednesday training workouts. People who are interested in starting running hear about the Wednesday night training workouts but the website didn’t have a simple to access page that described the workouts. Mike Smith explains the Wednesday night training runs very well in a interview we had with Coach Smith on the topic last year. I combined that with our more relaxed weekend training runs on a single page. You can get to this page from the MRM homepage (at the top). https://www.monadnockmilers.com/wednesday-track-and-training
