We have a lot of news this month. It has been a good year for running and a great year for MRM club and MAGP series. This month: MAGP results and upcoming awards, MRM cookout, a new Ramey runner!, Fall safety, plogging?, yes “PLOGGING”, Coaches Corner, race results and upcoming final MAGP races.

MRM cookout/MAGP awards, October 28th

The MAGP awards and the Monadnock Regional Milers Cookout is Sunday October 28th, 12 noon to 3 pm at Gingers house: 80 Longview Rd Hancock. We are celebrating a great Milers and MAGP year. We will be giving out MAGP awards.   Everyone is invited!!!!

This is a pot luck event. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, and portobellos for the grill. There will be lemonade in cooler. Bring your favorite goodies and beverages.

Hunting season: Be careful and dress appropriately

Hunting season. Be careful when you are running or hiking in trails that allow or are near land that allows hunting. NH Fish & Game hunting season details are in the link below. Depending on where you live, you are likely in WMU: K, H2N or H2S. Regardless, don’t wear white. Wear something bright neon orange, yellow, or pink.

MRM runner wins Full Throttle Triathlon

MRM runner Wendy Price was first place female in the Monadnock Full Throttle Triathlon. Wendy’s over all time was 2:37:13.5. Congratulations on an impressive performance.

Milers/MAGP cookout, October 28th

Save the date!  The Monadnock Regional Milers is going to have an End-of-Season/End of MAGP celebration and cookout party on Sunday October 28th. Time, place and more details will be posted in early October on this website and in the MRM October eNews.
